Slogging our way through November

Posted 11/18/2013 10:56am by Michael Hiener.

We have had one heck of a season.  The rain started in mid June and hasn't quit.  Because of all the rain, many of our crops were planted late.  The cold tolerant plants are still producing for us which gives us a nice selection to bring to the winter farmers market.  The "Current Products" page lists only what we would have in a normal year, but 2013 was not a normal year.  So here is a list of what we currently have available as of mid November:

Free range chicken eggs

Pasture raised whole roasting chickens

Stew hens

Broccoli

Potatoes

Celery

Cabbage

Cauliflower

Celery root

Turnips

Turnip greens

Collards

Kale

Check the event calendar page for what days we will be at the farmers market. Click on the link to find more information on Countryside Conservancy farmers markets.
